Stanley is one long street. Ross Road runs east to west along the harbour edge with the shops, the cathedral, the Visitor Centre and the guesthouses; a few streets climb behind it. Nothing is more than 2 km from the cathedral, so the useful division is east (museum and the road to Gypsy Cove), centre (cathedral, shops, jetty) and west (Victory Green, Government House and the quieter guesthouses).
