East Falkland is one base and a few trips. Stanley holds the beds, the museum and the harbour walk; Gypsy Cove and Volunteer Point are wildlife day trips, and rough gravel roads mean you go with a driver or a guide. Keep the Stanley room, travel light on the day trips, and plan a buffer day for wind.

The capital and the only town: harbour walk, cathedral, museum. The airport is 55 km away at Mount Pleasant.
