This is one administrative region covering two different trips: the Cariboo interior along Highway 97 (gold-rush towns, ranch country, lakes) and the Central Coast fjords and islands reached only by air or ferry. Driving the whole thing in one loop is not realistic — the interior is a road trip, the coast is a flight-and-ferry trip. Pick one, or split them with a flight back to Vancouver.
