The Yukon is bigger than Sweden with about 37,000 people, so you do not tour it — you pick one or two bases and drive. Whitehorse is the only real airport and supply town; Dawson City is the Gold Rush set piece, 6–7 h north by road. Come for long June days or dark September–March nights, not for a quick stop between flights.
