Western Arizona is the low desert between Phoenix and the Colorado River: Yuma's winter farms and border crossing, Lake Havasu City's water and London Bridge, Quartzsite's winter rock-and-RV scene, and old Route 66 towns like Oatman and Topock. There is no public transport, so pick one base and drive day loops; distances are long and summer heat is dangerous.
