Tetebatu

Spend 1–2 days in Tetebatu for walks, rice‑terrace views and Sasak village life; stay elsewhere for beach time.

Tetebatu is a high‑land village area on the southern slopes of Mount Rinjani, 700–800 m above sea level. Its cooler climate, rice terraces, coffee and clove plantations, and easy walking or cycling routes make it ideal for a half‑day to full‑day visit. Transport to and within the area can be slow, so plan for at least one night if you want a relaxed pace.
