Adwa is a small historic town in Tigray, best explored in a few hours. Its main sights are two churches and the nearby Abba Garima monastery; the larger draw is Yeha's pre‑Aksumite temple, reachable by a 50‑minute minibuss. One day is enough, with optional extra time for Yeha.
