Szigetújfalu
Skip unless you have a specific reason to visit a quiet village on Csepel Island: a half-day stop between Budapest and Ráckeve, or a picnic in the flood forest.
Szigetújfalu is a small village of about 2,000 people on Csepel Island, Pest County. It has a folk-art exhibition hall, a German minority museum and a flood-forest nature area. Most travellers pass through on the H6 suburban rail between Budapest and Ráckeve; the village itself is not a destination.
