- The Visitor Centre is run by the Falkland Islands Tourist Board and is the neutral place to ask about tours, flights to the outer islands and current conditions.
- Book Volunteer Point, battlefield and boat tours here or through your lodging; operators are small and take limited seats.
- Toilets and free maps are the practical reason to stop first.
- The desk can call lodges in camp; ask about FIGAS booking rules (flights are decided the day before).
