Dantewada is a small town in southern Chhattisgarh, best known for the Danteshwari Temple, one of the 52 Shakti Peethas. The town itself has few services for tourists, and the nearby waterfalls require treks or a vehicle. Most travellers use it as a morning stop on the way to Jagdalpur or the Bastar region, not as a base.
