Go for a half-day or one night for the castle, harbour and Cape Baba; stay longer only if visiting Gülpınar by car.

Babakale is a small coastal village on Cape Baba, the westernmost point of mainland Asia. Its restored Ottoman castle, harbour and short village walks make a compact visit; allow a half-day, or one night if you want to stay by the coast. Reaching the nearby temple at Gülpınar is easier with your own wheels.
