A first visit fits inside a rough triangle: Downtown (Al-Balad) in the valley, Jabal Amman and Rainbow Street on the hill above it to the west, and Jabal al-Weibdeh on the hill to the north. The Citadel sits on its own hill overlooking Downtown. Everything outside that triangle — Abdoun, Shmeisani, the airport road — is a ride.
