Step 2 — Pick the airport. CMB is the default. HRI only makes sense if a fare is unusually cheap and your first stop is the south coast; the drive from Hambantota to Colombo is long. Domestic seaplane and light-aircraft links exist between some resorts, but they are weather-dependent and not a substitute for an international flight.
