Four airports handle almost all international arrivals: Riyadh (RUH), Jeddah (JED), Dammam (DMM) and Medina (MED). AlUla (ULH) and Ta'if (TIF) take some regional and seasonal flights. Riyadh and Jeddah are the two main hubs and both have direct rail or road links to the city centre.
Riyadh is the better arrival point if your itinerary includes Diriyah, the Edge of the World or a domestic hop to AlUla. Jeddah is the better arrival point for the old town of Al-Balad, the corniche and any Red Sea or Mecca leg. Medina suits travellers whose trip is built around the Prophet's Mosque and the northern sites.
