Pahrump is an unincorporated exurb of Las Vegas, about 100 km west of the city on NV-160 and near the California line. It has a handful of hotel-casinos, a small museum, a winery and a motor resort, but no major sight. Most travellers use it as a cheap bed on the Las Vegas to Death Valley drive, or skip it entirely.
