Chandler is a 240,000-person suburb southeast of Phoenix, about 25 minutes from Sky Harbor airport. It is a car city: a compact historic downtown with breweries and a jazz festival, a large mall, a casino and resort on the Gila River Indian Community, and a lot of the metro's tech jobs. Two nights covers it if you are already in the Valley; most visitors see it as a half-day or an evening out.

A car is the practical default: the metro is spread out and summer heat makes walking unpleasant. Uber and Lyft both operate, Waymo serves parts of the city, and Chandler Flex (Via with the City of Chandler) covers on-demand rides in a defined zone — check the current zone and hours.
