Novo Sancti Petri
Come for 3–5 nights of beach and golf, not sightseeing: a car or bus is needed for Cádiz, Jerez and the white towns. Most hotels shut Nov–Feb.
Novo Sancti Petri is the hotel strip at the southern end of La Barrosa beach, in Chiclana de la Frontera on the Costa de la Luz. It was built from the late 1980s as a low-rise resort — nothing over three storeys — and now holds the largest number of beds on this coast. There is no old town here: the draw is a long sandy beach, golf, sports and easy day trips to Cádiz, Jerez and the white towns. Most hotels close from November to February, so plan around a summer or shoulder-season stay.

Buses 8 and 11 run between Novo Sancti Petri and Chiclana several times an hour. There is a taxi rank in front of the Hotel Barrosa Garden, and car and bike rentals sit in the Novo Center and at several hotels.
