Give Esperance 3 nights: one day for Cape Le Grand and Lucky Bay, one for the Twilight Beach coast road, one for town and the museum.
Esperance is a small port town on Western Australia's south coast, 720 km and about 7 hours' drive from Perth, with white-sand beaches and granite headlands that most visitors rate above the town itself. The reason to come is Cape Le Grand National Park, 50 km east, and the coast road west to Twilight Beach. Three nights covers both without rushing; two nights works if you skip the town sights.
