Jezzineجزين
Half a day to a full day: see the waterfall, walk the old town and buy a handmade knife. Not a base for South Lebanon; sleep in Sidon or Beirut.
Jezzine is a mountain resort town 22 km from Sidon, known for its waterfall, pine forests and traditional cutlery. Most visitors come for a few hours on a day trip from Sidon or Beirut. The town is compact: the waterfall is a 5-minute walk from the main square, and the old souk with knife workshops is another 10 minutes. One night is enough only if you want a quiet evening in the mountains.
