Jezzine is a mountain resort town 22 km from Sidon, known for its waterfall, pine forests and traditional cutlery. Most visitors come for a few hours on a day trip from Sidon or Beirut. The town is compact: the waterfall is a 5-minute walk from the main square, and the old souk with knife workshops is another 10 minutes. One night is enough only if you want a quiet evening in the mountains.

- The waterfall flow is strongest in spring (March–May); in late summer it may be a trickle.
- Many shops close on Sunday or in winter; call ahead for knife workshops.
- Roads from Sidon are winding; allow 40 minutes by car.
Jezzine is generally safe for tourists during the day. The main risk is the winding mountain road from Sidon; drive carefully. Check your government's travel advice for South Lebanon before visiting.
