Southern Governorateالمحافظة الجنوبية
Half a day from Manama: see the Tree of Life, the Bahrain International Circuit and Al Areen Wildlife Park. A car is essential.
The Southern Governorate covers two-thirds of Bahrain but holds less than a tenth of its people. Its draws are the Tree of Life, the Formula 1 circuit and Al Areen Wildlife Park, all reachable by car from Manama in 30–40 minutes. A half-day loop covers them; you do not need to sleep here.
