Wake is a small town in Okayama Prefecture with a large wisteria park, bike‑friendly routes and a hot‑spring resort. It is reachable by the JR Sanyō Line in about 30 min from Okayama Station. One day covers the main sights; a night adds a soak at Ugaidani Hot Springs.
