Sarahan
Sarahan is a one-night stop on the way to Kinnaur: see the 800-year-old Bhimakali Temple, sleep in a temple guesthouse, then move on.
Sarahan is a remote mountain village 7 km above the Satluj River, best known for the Bhimakali Temple and its palace. Most travellers stop for one night between Shimla and the Kinnaur Valley. The village has a handful of dhabas and guesthouses; the main draw is the temple complex and the valley views.
