Primorsko is a small Black Sea resort about 35 km south-east of Burgas, with roughly 10 km of sand between the town and Kiten across the bay. It is a beach town first: shallow water, a water park, and mostly Bulgarian and Eastern European holidaymakers. Three nights covers the beach, the Ropotamo reserve and Beglik Tash; two is enough if you only want sand.

Getting around

The town is small enough to walk end to end in about 20 minutes, so you do not need transport inside Primorsko. For Beglik Tash, Maslen Nos or Kiten you need a car, taxi or organised trip; buses along the coast run from the bus station.

Safety

Primorsko is a low-crime resort town; the real risks are summer sun, unattended bags on the sand, and taxi meters that run fast. Agree the fare before you get in.
