Pettavaithalai is a small pilgrimage town on the Cauvery River in Tiruchirappalli District, Tamil Nadu. Its main draws are two temples and the local korai grass mat weaving. Most travellers use it as a short stop between Kulithalai and Tiruchirappalli.
