Northern Canada is three territories — Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut — with about 113,600 people on a land area bigger than India. Two hubs, Whitehorse and Yellowknife, have year-round road access and normal town services. Everything in Nunavut is fly-in only, and most of the region has no roads at all. Costs are the highest in Canada: food is flown in, so milk and fresh produce are expensive. Go in summer for midnight sun and road trips, or in deep winter for aurora and dog sledding. Pick one hub, not three.
