- Speedboat resorts: ask the resort for its last boat and what happens if the sea is rough; boats can be cancelled for the day.
- Local islands: public ferries run to a timetable, often once or twice a day and not after dark; a guesthouse speedboat costs more. Book a Malé night before the ferry or after your flight.
