Skip unless you are a Shiva pilgrim or on a temple circuit in East Telangana: a half-day stop from Bhadrachalam or Warangal, not a base.
Kaleshwaram is a small temple town on the Godavari in East Telangana, known for the Kaleshwara Mukteswara Swamy Temple, where two lingams — one dedicated to Yama — sit on a single pedestal. The town has no other sights and limited lodging; most visitors come on a day trip from Bhadrachalam (about 1 h) or Warangal (about 2 h).
