Haida Gwaii is an archipelago of about 150 islands off northern British Columbia, with Graham and Moresby carrying almost everything a visitor does. It is reached by a short flight from Vancouver or a 7–8 hour ferry from Prince Rupert, and both fill up in summer. Come for Haida cultural sites, old-growth forest, beaches and fishing, not for resorts or nightlife. Plan 4–6 nights and sleep on Graham Island.

- Mild and wet year-round; Tlell and Sandspit see about 1,200–1,400 mm of rain a year, with snow of roughly 10–70 cm, more at Langara Island in the north.
