Overview
Bishkek's centre is a grid of tree-lined avenues, and four clusters cover a first visit. The trips that go wrong land at 03:00 with no driver and no hotel confirmation, or try to fit Ala Archa, Burana and Issyk-Kul into a city break. Keep one bed, use short car rides between clusters, and treat the mountains as day trips that need their own weather margin.
