About these names

You sleep in the town centre or near the falls. Distances look short on a map but the road has little shade, so taxis are the norm between areas.

Four areas along a line from the town to the gorge, about 2 to 3 km end to end. The town centre has shops, cash and curio stalls; Zambezi Drive and the hotel road hold the older hotels and the river lodges; the falls entrance and rainforest path are at the east end; the bridge is the last stop before the Zambian border post.
