Siddhatek
Half a day is enough: visit the Siddhivinayak Temple, one of the eight Ashtavinayak shrines, then move on to Shirdi or Ahmednagar.
Siddhatek is a small village in Maharashtra known for the Siddhivinayak Temple, one of the eight Ashtavinayak temples. The temple is the only reason to stop here: a quick visit takes 1–2 hours. Most travellers combine it with Shirdi, Shani Shingnapur or Ahmednagar on a day trip from Pune.

- India ↗Carry Indian rupees in small notes (10, 20, 50, 100); change for 500 is often refused.
- India ↗Parts of the Northeast, Sikkim, Ladakh, the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and all border belts need a Protected or Restricted Area Permit or an Inner Line Permit for foreigners; check before you book the route.
