Two cities about 140 km apart on a straight motorway. The bus is cheap and frequent but drops you at a bus station, not your hotel. A taxi or ride-hailing car costs many times more and takes you door to door. A hire car sits in between and is worth it only if you plan to drive onward to Al Ain or the desert.
