About these names

This guide covers four working areas at the western end. Distances between them are 10 to 40 minutes by taxi.

Roatán is a long, thin island with one main road. The airport and Coxen Hole are near the middle, West End and West Bay are at the western tip, Sandy Bay and the north shore are in between, and French Harbour and the east are quieter and mostly outside this guide.
