Narmadapuram (formerly Hoshangabad) is a Narmada river town in Madhya Pradesh, best known for the 19th-century Sethani Ghat and the prehistoric rock paintings at Adamgarh Hills. Most travellers pass through on the way to Pachmarhi or Bhedaghat. One afternoon covers the main sights; the town itself has limited accommodation and dining.
