Kameyama亀山市
Visit Kameyama for a half‑day stop (castle and historic post town) or stay one night if you want to explore Seki‑juku; no more than 1 night needed.
Kameyama is a small city in Mie Prefecture, midway between Kyoto and Nagoya on the JR Kansai Line. Its main attractions – Kameyama Castle and the historic post‑town Seki‑juku – are close to the station, making a half‑day visit feasible. Overnight is optional for a relaxed walk through Seki‑juku and a dinner at the local Brazilian eatery.

- East Asia ↗Every border in East Asia is a full international border, Hong Kong and Macau included: an entry permission for one never covers the next.
- East Asia ↗Ferries between Korea, Japan and China cancel in rough seas and typhoons; keep a flight or a spare day behind every sea leg.
- Japan ↗IC cards (ICOCA/Suica) are topped up with cash at station machines.
- Japan ↗Smoking while walking is banned in most city centres; use designated areas.
- Japan ↗Shinkansen bags 160–250 cm (L+W+H) need a seat reserved with the oversized-baggage area.
