Babo Dehriبابو ڈھیری
A half-day stop for a quiet rural walk and home-cooked meal, not a base. Skip if you have under 3 hours or need modern amenities.
Babo Dehri is a tiny farming village in Swabi district, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with a few hundred residents. There are no ticketed sights, no hotels and no restaurants: you come for a slow walk through fields, a cup of chai at a local shop and a meal offered by a family. Most travellers use it as a short detour between Peshawar and Mardan or as a stop on a Swabi countryside tour.
