Getting around
A car is the easiest way to cover the city; metered street parking downtown is plentiful and usually free in the evening and at weekends. The MAX bus and DART trolley run Mon–Thu 10:00–22:00, Fri–Sat to midnight and Sun to 21:00. Veo BikeShare stations are around the city; a 45-minute ride is about $3, with overtime charges after that. Downtown itself is compact enough to walk, but Avondale and Woodlawn are too far on foot, especially in summer heat.
