Sinchon is a half-day stop on a guided tour of Hwanghae: see the Sinchon Museum and Chahyesa temple, then move on. Overnight stays are not typical for foreign visitors.
Sinchon is a small town in South Hwanghae province, known for the Sinchon Museum of American War Atrocities and the 16th-century Chahyesa Buddhist temple. Most foreign visitors arrive as part of an organised tour from Pyongyang or Kaesong. The town itself has limited accommodation and dining options for independent travellers.
