Kukup
Half a day is enough: visit Tanjung Piai National Park (the southernmost point of mainland Asia), eat a seafood lunch, then move on. One night only if you want a slow seafood dinner and a morning walk.
Kukup is a small fishing town in Johor, best known for Tanjung Piai National Park — the southernmost point of mainland Asia — and its seafood restaurants on stilts. Most travellers stop for a few hours between Pontian and Johor Bahru, or use the ferry to Indonesia. The town itself has no nightlife and limited accommodation; plan a half-day trip unless you want a quiet seafood weekend.
