Malmö
Give Malmö 1–2 nights as a Copenhagen add-on or a Scania base: the old town, the beach and Möllevången food fit in a day and a half.
Malmö is Sweden's third city and the Swedish half of the Öresund pair, 20 minutes by train from Copenhagen Airport and about 40 minutes from Copenhagen Central. It is a port and university city with a compact old town, a city beach, a strong food scene around Möllevångstorget and easy day trips across Scania. Most travellers see it in a day; one or two nights lets you eat properly and add Lund or the coast.
