Overview
Tirana's centre is small and flat, and everything on a first visit is within a 30-minute walk of Skanderbeg Square. What trips people up is the weather and the roads: July and August are hot, winter is wet, and traffic makes any car ride longer than the map suggests. Four clusters cover a first visit; Krujë, Durrës and Berat are trips away from one kept bed.
