Khuda Abad

Half-day stop if you are driving the Karakoram Highway through Hunza: walk the village lanes, see the terraced fields, then continue to Karimabad or Passu. Not a destination on its own.

Khuda Abad is a small farming village in the Hunza Valley, about 20 km east of Karimabad. It has no major sights — the appeal is a quiet walk through potato and wheat terraces with the Rakaposhi massif in the background. Most travellers pass through on the Karakoram Highway without stopping. If you have an extra hour, pull over for the view and a cup of tea.
