Kórnik
Go as a half-day or one-night stop from Poznań: castle plus arboretum in 3–4 hours, 40–50 min by bus 501 from Rondo Rataje.
Kórnik is a small town 18 km south-east of Poznań, built around one sight: the Działyński Castle with its library and the adjoining arboretum. The castle and the parish church stand about 200 m apart, so the town itself is walkable in an afternoon. Most travellers come from Poznań and return the same day; a night makes sense only if you want the arboretum in the morning light or a base for Rogalin and the Warta river.
