Riung
Two nights: one full day for the 17 Islands Marine Park. Skip if you have less than a day to spare.
Riung is a quiet fishing town on Flores' north coast and the gateway to the 17 Islands Marine Park — a cluster of small, uninhabited islands with clear water, coral reefs and white-sand beaches. It has basic infrastructure and a slow pace. Most visitors come for snorkelling and island hopping, not nightlife or luxury.
