Rapu-Rapu
Skip as a base: day-trip from Legazpi or skip. Limited accommodation, one hotel, and ferries run on schedule. Half a day covers the island's beaches and rock formations.
Rapu-Rapu is the only island municipality in Albay, facing Mayon Volcano across Albay Gulf. It offers quiet beaches, rock formations and a slow pace. Most travellers use Legazpi as a base and visit for a few hours; the island has one hotel and few services.
