Manito

Skip unless you have a specific reason: the boiling lake and geothermal plant are a half-day trip from Legazpi, not a destination.

Manito is a remote coastal municipality on the southeastern tip of Albay, best known for Nag-aso Boiling Lake and the BacMan Geothermal Power Plant. It has no beach resorts, limited accommodation and few dining options. Most travellers visit as a day trip from Legazpi (about 1 hour by van) and leave the same afternoon.
