Gönen is a small spa town in Southern Marmara, 45 km inland from Bandırma. Its geothermal springs are the main draw; the town centre and hotels are within a short walk from the bus station. A half‑day covers the baths, a quick meal and a stroll, while an overnight lets you use the thermal hotels.
