Tangalan
A quiet coastal town for a half-day stop between Kalibo and Boracay: see Jawili Falls, walk the beach, then move on.
Tangalan is a small, peaceful municipality in Aklan, about 30 minutes from Kalibo and 45 minutes from the Caticlan ferry to Boracay. Its main draws are Jawili Falls, a white-sand beach with seasonal bioluminescence, a marine sanctuary, and a reforestation area. Most travellers use it as a short stop, not a base.
