Tenkawa
Visit Tenkawa for a day of hiking or a 1‑2 night nature stay; reach by bus from Kintetsu Shimoichiguchi (≈1 h) or car via E25.
Tenkawa is a remote Nara village on the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage route, offering cedar forests, mountain rivers, and access to Mount Ōmine. A day covers the main sights; an extra night lets you hike higher trails or camp in Mitarai Valley.
